Ocean Bottom Node (OBN) Battery Project

The client faced critical failure risks due to water leakage in battery compartments under high hydrostatic pressure (700m depth), compromising expensive seismic data collection.
We engineered a dual-layer protection system. Beyond the standard cell assembly, we designed a bespoke vacuum-sealed enclosure and reinforced the OBN shell structure. This value-added service ensured zero leakage and reliable power delivery at operational depths.
